A year ago(ish I honestly don't totally remember the exact date) Alex and I got fake married.. That's where you're already married but you invite everyone to see you pretend to get married and have a reception. It was good times. I've seen a bunch of blogs where people try on their wedding dresses a year later to see if they still fit. I wanted to do that, except I wanted to make sure it didn't fit hahaa cause I was a bit bigger.

Gross right. Yeah that's what I said when I looked through these. I was just telling Alex the other day how much it sucks the happiest pictures I have are the ones I'm supposed to love. My fake wedding and pictures of the time I lived in Korea with my hubs for 6 weeks. Yet those are the pictures that I can't even look at without being grossed out at myself. Grrr

Here I am a year later

Why yes, I am doing weird faces cause I'm totally awkward whilst taking self photos

Wanna know why I'm sad faccing? Cause the biggest part of the dress is the chest. Oh noess!! I'm losing all my boobs! :(

Pictures Just don't do it justice just how much room is in the chest.

I knows its not just my boobs getting smaller, even though you can see a significant difference, boo. Its my back, arm, and stomach fat too. So yay!

Gotta say, this dress just looks silly on me now. I gotta do a trash this dress sesh.

Sad part of this all is this was in August and I didn't even try to start losing weight till March. That like 7 more months of gaining. Ya this wasn't even t he biggest I got. Ewe.

For our two year

Alex and I talked today and decided for our two year wedding anniversary this year we'll be running a half marathon together!

It started when I was looking on line today for races to do. Then I found a half marathon on Dec 11th in North Carolina! Our anniversary is on the 14th so I thought that would be something fun we could do together. Alex has always been a big runner and done races and whatnot. I have not. I always though it was cause of my legs, or cause I got shin splints and cause my knees and hips hurt when I ran just a little bit. Turns out it was just cause I was fat and overweight haha.

I am actually pretty good at running now, I guess I just needed to get in shape.

I'm mostly just way happy that I will get to do something with Alex that he loves. It'll be fun to bond this way.

Alex custom made me Nike's a couple weeks ago. And I was really excited about getting them in soon, but turns out he never totally checked out online boo. So I made me some today and just purchased them so they should be here in 4 weeks, hopefully sooner!

I bought the Free Run id2 because I want to ease into barefoot running. I be in these for a while then switch to fives.

The shoes I love the colors I picked cause I love everything bright and fun!

I went online and looked at a bunch of different training schedules and am between two right now. The first one is a ten week. Has 3 rest days a week and has a little higher miles a day.

The next is a twelve week one has 2 rest days a week and has lower miles a day.

I think I might just end up merging the two to make my ownish.

If anyone has done any races and has any tips on training it would be much appreciated!

Today is mine and Alex's 4 year anniversary of our first date.

I got the best surprise today. Alex sent me flowers with the sweetest thing on the card

I was so thrilled! Really didn't expect anything. I love him so much

I can't believe it's been 4 years, at the same time it feels like it should be so much longer

I can't stand how much I've been missing him lately. I've been fairly ok up until just recently. I hate how sad I feel, I miss how much fun we have together, and just everything about him.

Just about 2 months and some odd days till he comes back for mid tour leave! We've already been planning what we're gonna do and I can't wait! He's flying into California and I'm gonna drive there about a day before. Then we're gonna stay in Cali and do Knotts Berry Farm, and a couple days at the beach. Then we're gonna go to Las Vegas for a day. After that we're going to Utah for my brothers wedding. Which P.S. he just got engaged about a week or so ago, so excited for him! He's coming into town with my cousin tomorrow so we can meet his fiancée, so excited to meet her! Then after a few days in Utah, we'll go to Arizona for the rest of the time!

The best part is after he goes back from mid tour leave we only have 3 months till we're FINALLY together full time!! We've already done 3 now, so just have one more of these after leave.

Gosh dang I miss him!

April 7th 2007

One year I'll stop posting this story. But it's not this year. I usually post it when we consider our anniversary, which is April 13th, but we actually met on the 7th, so I'm doin it today!

April 2007, I was 17 and working at the PacSun at Fiesta Mall in Mesa. At the same time Alex was 18, and working In GNC at Arizona Mills Mall in Tempe. Whenever I worked I always went into GNC to get a drink on my break. April 7th, I was working and I went in to get a drink on y break and there was this really cute guy there. I got my drink and we talked at the register for like 5 min, but I had to get back to work cause I only had a ten min break. I went back to work, but I had a hard time working, I couldn't get my mind off of him, so I asked my boss if I could go grab something real quick and she said yes, so off I went back to GNC. I got there and I had no idea what to ask for. So I just said the first thing that came to my mind which for some reason was a knee brace. Haha I have no idea why, but I asked if he happened to have a knee brace, and he said, "no but maybe you can try Sears". Off I scurried, defeated.

Little did I know later that night he got home from closing and had this conversation with his mom.

A. "Mom I met a girl today"

M." Really, whats her name?"

A. "I don't know." (no we didn't even exchange names)

M."Well where did you met her?"

A. "Then mall, I think she was working"

(Alex's mom thought this was weird because he never really talked to her about girls he like or girlfriends) So she said

M."you need to go find her"

And he listened to his mom, and off he went to find me. He kind of looked around the parking lot a little to see if I happened to be out there, but I wasn't so he went home.

Then next 4 days he went to every store in the mall trying to discribe me to people cause he didn't know what my name was or where I worked. Finally on Thursday he was gonna give up and he went to GNC, and the guy that was usually there when I went to get my drinks was there. He told him why he was at the mall, and discribed me to him. And then the guy said, "oh hey, I know her, she works at PacSun." Off Alex went to PacSun.

When he got there my boss was there, and he started discibing me and she said, "oh sasha, ya she works here" Then he asked my number and she asked if he was a stalker. Then he said, "well kind of, but in a good way!" He couldn't get my number, but he left his number for me. Later that day I called to see if I had to work that day. And this is my conversation with my boss.

S. "Hey do I work today"

B. "No, you don't, but remember that guy you were talking about at GNC"

S."ya, what about him"

B. "He came looking for you today"

S."Ha, ya whatever, jerk"

B."No, I'm serious he left you his number!"

After a little bit of convincing I flipped out! And I mean seriously flipped! So I called him, he didn't answer at first cause he was in class, but I left a message, then later that night he called me back and asked me out for the next day. Which was April 13, 2007.

It's so crazy to think how we started out and where we are now, I would have never though we would end up married! I'm so happy he tracked me down stalked style 4 years ago today. I'm more in love with him everyday, and could really never ask for a more amazing husband and best friend.

First Cake

In 13 days will be mine and Alex's year anniversary. If you didnt know we got married on my parents front lawn, after deciding 16 hours earlier we were getting married. Dress code was our jean and ts. It was good times that day. Except not, cause right after we got married, like 5 min after, I went to work. I acted like nothing had happened cause my boss was super mean, and she scared me. It was like REALLY hard containing my excitement. Especially after I got a text saying, "How's your day wife :)" I was like whoa!!! I'm married!! It felt so crazy! After work we went to a hotel for the next two days, minus the 4 hours shifts I worked every day haha.

A few days after we came back from the hotel we decided to finally cut our wedding cake. The only person there though was my sister Maranda and my iPhone. I don't think anyone has ever seen the pictures of us cutting our first cake, so here it is!

One Year Ago

First off let me just mention this is my 100th post! Only took me a little over two and a half years haha I know pathetic. But yay me!

And on to the post...

I just realized today that me and Alex got engaged just one year ago yesterday(the 14th)

It is so insane how much time flies. I feel like it was just a few months ago. We got married just one month(to the day) after we got engaged. Then he left for BCT just 2 weeks after we got engaged! I can't even tell you how crazy that last month and a half was.

Alex and I dated for over two and a half years before we were married. And I'm not

gonna lie, a part of me misses the dating days. I miss being able to see my best friend every day. I miss having half or full all nighters to have a movie marathon. And just being with him.

Us New Years Day 2009

Since we've been married we've been toghether about 4ish months..mind you have not lived together..well not full time. For 10 weeks he got to live with me on weekends and come home nights but thats about it.

Don't get me wrong, I love being married, and being able to call him my husband, and I especially love us being a family, looking forward to starting our our family. I just really want to finally be able to live together!

In other Korean based news, here it is. We decided to not wait for Command Sponsorship, and just send me over there. We will still be able to get our stuff shipped, except for the car, with that we'll have to wait till CS goes through then get it shipped. The only downside besides that which really isn't that bad is buying my ticket and that will be only about 500-700.

Alex has started talking to realtors this week, looking for a place. And the hopeful plan is to get me there before Christmas! I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am! I'm just hoping everything works as planned and there are no more bumps in the road! Which I cant even begin to tell you how many there have been so far(a LOT)

Hi! Today is mine and Alex's 3 Year anniversary of togetherness!

Last year I posted our awesome love story.

Anyway continuing with this.

I was thinking today about Alex and I.

I seriously love us.

I love how perfect things have always been.

I love how amazing he makes me feel.

I love how much fun we have always had.

I love how selflessly he love me.

Which brought me to this main point...

Our relationship is Bitchin

That is really the only way to describe it.

Best thing ever. Alex sent me flowers today.

I was so completely surprise. Like no joke I never would have guessed.

Where he even found the time to send them? I don't know.

But he did...

Then tonight we went out to eat. We went to a nice little Mexican restaurant on base.

Had a lovely little anniversary date.

Needless to say, it was bitchin.

I love Alex so much.

I am so blessed to have him in my life.

I am so excited for what our future hold.

I can't wait to spend forever with my best friend.

Here's to the best three years of my life...(so far) ;-)

Yes, I am married

First of, let me begin to tell you why so soon, in order of importance.

• Alex will be in basic training from the 29th till he graduates on March 11th. He then starts AIT on March 15. Which if you can imagine is no time for a wedding, and were not even too sure if he will be in Arizona at all during those 2 days.
• Um Basically were in Love
• I want to start school in January, and me being an army wife, get mondo mula por escuela!
• Not just school but excellent benifits for everything!
• Being engaged is ssssssssoooooooo OVERRATED!

But let me tell you I am so happy we did it early! It was a really last min thing. We wore jeans and t's and had the bishop do it in the front yard. As unplanned and "redneck" it may have been the acctual ceremony was perfect. We still plan on having a ring ceremony and reception sometime when he gets back. That's why there are no pictures, cause I didn't really wanna remember this as the wedding, I know I'm weird.

I know We've only been married 4 days or so. But I LOVE it! I love never having to say goodnight, and be with him all the time. I'm so happy that I was lucky enough to marry my best friend. It's so crazy to think about it, cause I never would have thought when I saw this hot guy at GNC, that I was totally crushing on, that we would be married three years later. . But I'm so glad thats how it all turned out :)

Two Years Ago

I thought in honor of mine and Alex's 2 year anniversary, I would share our story with the blogging world since it is so very precious

April 2007 I worked at PacSun in Feista Mall, at the same time Alex worked at GNC, in Arizona Mills Mall. On April 7, Alex had to cover a shift for someone at Feista Mall. Everyday when I worked I went in to GNC to get a drink on my break. And so I go in to get a drink when I was on break and I saw him haha. He was sooo cute and I stood waiting to checkout, and we talked for a bit, but I only had a 10 min break, so I had to leave. But I was getting really antsy working cause all I could think about was him! So I begged my boss if I could go get another drink cause I said I was feeling sick. But I went in there and I kinda paniced, I didnt know what to ask for cause I didnt wanna seem desprerate, so I asked if he had a knee brace hahaha I dont know why it just came out! But he didnt get the hint, and he told me he didnt, and to try Sears haha. So I went back to work.

Little did I know later that night after work Alex went home and talked to his mom about me, and his mom said he had never talked that way about a girl so he needed to go find me! So Alex got in his truck and went back to the mall and searched the parking lot hoping he would find me. But he didnt. So for the next 4 days everyday he went to the mall to try and find me, cause he didnt know what store I worked at, and he didnt know my name. So after 3 days of going to every store and trying to describe me to everyone, on the 4th day he was gonna give up and he went into GNC to tell one of his co-workers what was going on, and he said "oh that girl, she works at pacsun" haha so he went to pacsun and described me to my boss and she said ya that Sasha. He wanted to get my number but they couldnt hand out my number at work so he gave them his number.

Later that day I called in to see if I worked and my boss said, "Hey you know that guy you were talking about at GNC?" and I said yea what about him, she said "He came by looking for you, he gave you his number". Man was I freaking out, ask my mom, I was triiipppppiiiinnn! Hahaha, So i called him and left a message and he called me back and we went out the next day.


And the rest is history!
