Maranda Week

Last week my little sister Maranda was able to take a few days off work and came and stayed here for 5 days! We had such a good time! Layed out by the pool, saw a few movies went out to eat, and on Saturday for Alex's birthday we went to Hilton Head Island! I'm so glad she was able to come out and be our first and probably last/only visitor haha.

Mediocrity

Today I went to a movie with my sister, Maranda.

We went to see, "The Last Song" at the dollar theater.

As I was sitting watching the part where Ronnie was playing piano immaculately .

I had a quite the eye opening experience...

I Am Mediocre.

I came to this conclusion because I used to play the piano.

But then I quit, and now I suck.

Then I was thinking about everything I have done in my life.

And it made me sadder than ever to realize everything I have ever done,

I have just been mediocre at.

There has been one thing in my life that I have ever done

that I have done well at, but of coarse I quit.

And that was swimming

I love swimming, I think it's my one passion

And it's one thing I think I excel at.

I went swimming with Maranda today at the pool

We were swimming back and and forth in the pool(not quit laps)

And I realize, hey, I'm still really good at this.

So today I am making a pact with myself.

I will swim laps at least 3x a week.

I will get even better at it

This will be MY THING

AND I WILL NOT BE MEDIOCRE ANYMORE!

Just a whole lot of info, in case you we're wondering ya know

Wow, I'm a horrible blogger.

Have I blogged at all since I've been here really? Who knows, anyways I'll catch everyone up.

I got a job at the begining of May working as a camp counselor here at the YMCA. I worked there until...oh hey, a week ago today. I quit for a few reasons, the biggest one is I have a gazzillion things to do before the move. All of my Korea paperwork has to be in by the 20th. And so far I have been crazy busy since, so yep quitting was definetly my best move. The second reason was besides a psycho head boss, like I just can litterlaly not explain how crazy she was, so I just won't. The camp had 250-300 kids, and about 15 counselors per shift. And in case anyone was wondering, that DOES NOT WORK. It was insane, so unorganized, a major headache everyday. Just plain didn't work.

Back to me being busy busy. I've been gettin all my paperwork together, I've gotten 1/2 doctors appt down, The next one is wednesday. Getting my passport Thursday. And my name is officially changed everywhere, so I don't have to worry about what last name I use where haha.

For Memorial Day weekend me and Alex we're lucky enough to get to go home for the weekend. We had the funnest time! I'm so mad at myself, we were having such a good time we didn't take any pictures! Grr!!

We have a move plan finally. We're not moving with a truck. We're packing everything we can in my Acura and haulin it to Arizona...again. Except we have more stuff, and still have the 2 dogs, So we're gonna have my mom and whoever else come here and get a rental car so the dogs, and whatever else can go in the rental in there, and stuff our car with crap, We'll just be selling our couch mattress and table. Good thing we got them each for under 200.

Alex's last day of class is July 30th. Then there's like a week of out processing, and 5 days in the field. So we'll probably be back home middle of August, then Alex reports middle of September, which means I'll probably be getting there middle of October.

Last night was a baddd night. I got absolutely no sleep. My poor little puppy Bagheera is sick and was crying allllll night. I might as well have just slept outside cause he needed to go out, not even kidding, every 20 min. At about 5:25 he threw up and was done crying and needing to go outside. But unfortunately for me I needed to be up at 5:45 for an appointment. I came home with Alex at 900 and Bagheera had diarrhead all over in the kennel. Oops which reminds me I should have washed those blankets that are laying on the balcony haha. Alex was great and cleaned that all up for me while I took the dogs out. He wasn't eating or drinking today, and I was getting worried so I went and bought wet food and pedialyte and he's been doing better. The dogs have been so so lazy today, or just sick :( And have been asleep all day except the 2 times I've taken them out.

And last but not least today Alex and I have been married for 6 months. I love him so much, he is so amazing with everything he does for me. I don't expect him to be so great after all the hard work he does, but he's never seems to be tired, or shows it at least. I love how much fun we always have together. I love what a great support he is for me, anytime I get stressed out he assures me everything is going to be fine, and helps me take care of all the thing I need to. It's weird it feels like we have been married way longer than 6 months, but really time is flying and I can't wait till we can start the next stage in our life. The free life! No more training and rules! Where we can actually live together! Only 6 more weeks!! I can't wait!

Worthy.

Well I haven't blogged in a long time

But I figured this subject was very blog worthy.

We got our orders!!

This is where we will be residing for about the next 2 years!!

Yongsan/Seoul South Korea!!

AKA the New York of Asia!

I was so shocked when I first found out!

I deffinetly did not expect this,

But the more I know about it the more excited I am!

Besides I will be moving at the same time with one of my friends!

And I will know a few other friends there,

And hopefully another friend will be here,

or a couple hours away!

Yay! I'm so thrilled!

Less than 10 weeks!

Eeekkk sooo much to do!

Bitchin. And wouldn't you know it.

Hi! Today is mine and Alex's 3 Year anniversary of togetherness!

Last year I posted our awesome love story.

This year, I won't, but I will give you a link, here if you will.

I know precious right.

Anyway continuing with this.

I was thinking today about Alex and I.

I seriously love us.

I love how perfect things have always been.

I love how amazing he makes me feel.

I love how much fun we have always had.

I love how selflessly he love me.

Which brought me to this main point...

Our relationship is Bitchin

That is really the only way to describe it.

Best thing ever. Alex sent me flowers today.

I was so completely surprise. Like no joke I never would have guessed.

Where he even found the time to send them? I don't know.

But he did...

Then tonight we went out to eat. We went to a nice little Mexican restaurant on base.

Had a lovely little anniversary date.

Needless to say, it was bitchin.

I love Alex so much.

I am so blessed to have him in my life.

I am so excited for what our future hold.

I can't wait to spend forever with my best friend.

Here's to the best three years of my life...(so far) ;-)

You'll be glad

Today was beautiful. I took the pups to the dog park. And I tried to pretend like I was a good photographer. It was good times. Oh and I got to see Alex for like 5 min cause I had to pick up his Class A's to go get them dry cleaned on account of he'll most likely be phasing up this week.. Yaynes!

I got a few things accomplish today so I feel pretty good. I went to walmart, went to the bank, and started Jillian Michaels 30 day shred. Let me tell you it kicked my butt. Felt so good.

This is great cause our dogs are total bed dogs, thats like the only place they will lay.

Well when we moved here Alex and I installed a new rule, no dogs on the bed. The first 3 or 4 days were really hard, like honestly I got NO sleep cause they just kept jumping up every 10-15 min and I would kick them off. Now they don't even attempt getting on the bed, they just go right to their doggy bed and stay there all night.. SUCCESS!!

A Day

Today has been A day. Yes just one of those days, when everything that can go wrong certainly will. It started out I wanted to go buy a couch today, cause Im tired of having no furniture in here. So I went to transfer some money from Alex's account into mine. Then this security question came up that asked what the first elementary school was so I entered it. Then I tried 2 more it could have been, and I ended up locking up his account, great I know. Even though I know ONE of those answerers had to have been right! Then I went to log on to my capital one account to see how much money was on my credit card, and another security question. What city were you born in. mesa. WRONG ANSWER. Mesa. WRONG ANSWER. MESA. WRONG ANSWER. I KNOW I WAS IN FACT BORN IN MESA CAPITAL ONE.. But noooo. SO that decided to lock up on my too! GRRRR!! Then I went to my Bank of America account, and that just wasnt working. Just my luck

After that I decided I would just go look at couches and buy later. So I took the dogs out for a little walk. Until I decided to start running with the dogs in shoes 2 sizes too big. Yes they are my shoes, Its just they're boys shoes and I really love boy shoes...but they dont carry any of my tiny little feet size in the mens, unless i wanna buy from the little boy section.. So I just deal with the big sizes. Anyways I was running with the dogs and I tripped big time. I hurt my ankle soo bad. I sat there for a while whilst Casey ran off, just thinking of how this is the worst pain I have ever been in. But I did not cry instead I got up, and threw up. Then I had to lure Casey back to me without chasing her, cause I couldn't. Finally I got her, and walked the longest walk back to my apartment ever! I felt so nauseated the whole time and felt like I was gonna pass out. I finally got back home, and just layed down. Then Gaylene called and I told her what happened and she said that its probably broken and I need to get to the hospital. Cause it already started swelling a ton, it was turning a little blue and my toes were numb(still are haha) But I just wanted to wait it out to see how it felt later on, cause I seem to have a lot of false alarms with broken bones. Anyways finally the pain became to unbearable and I needed to go.

So I went to my car got it tried to start it and nothin. I thought at first it was the battery so I jiggled the cables and tried to start it again, and this time it sputtered and the didnt start, so I knew it wasnt the battery. I thought though that I could still charge my phone, since my wall charger is MIA. So I turned the acc on and then it started freaking out of my so I quickly shut it off. And by this time my phone had 5% battery left. Geez soo frussstrating.

I was going crazy by this point in the day, and I knew there was really nothing I could do, so I went inside and said a prayer, praying that my car would work and my foot would be ok. Then I slept it off. And I woke up and the swelling was down. And it feels a lot better! Then I went outside and tried to start my car and it worked!! Oh and more good news, I just found my wall charger!

So now I've decided to entertain y'all with the happy right now!

I love me some giant jawbreakers. Granted they take me about a year to eat. But Alex knows i will never pass up an opportunity to buy one.

I call these Legit-a-flip. Cute right!? And there are so many others just as cute! And totally not cheap too. But they cost 4$ at WalMart. Yes I am going back to get more. So nice!

Getting mail with my new name on it! Yes this is the first I have got. Good thing Netflix doesn't check out if thats really my last name. I should change that
