I went to my sister's softball game yesterday, and I just thought I would let everyone know what a rockstar my sister Maranda is.



She is really awesome. Now you may be thinking all right, I play softball, so what's the big deal with her.


Well she does stuff like this that gets her set to the hospital. Thats what you get for longboarding down an insanely steep hill.

Also one time while she was surfing, she got her whole bottom row of teeth knocked down at the back of her mouth. That was sad cause she had just got her braces off then had to have them on for another year and a half.

But here's the thing that I think makes her the biggest rockstar.

Aside from all this I just wanted to say reason #237 why I love my husband.
Anytime I hear on the news about crazy N.Korea almost starting up the war again. I get on to message him to see if all is well, and I already have a message waiting for me saying everything is good.
Like early this morning for instance, I heard the news about Japan and I quickly jumped on facebook to send a message to Alex to see if he was ok. And lo and behold, there was a message waiting for me saying everything in Korea was ok, no tsunami there.
I love that he knows I'm gonna worry so he's always considerate enough to send me a message. I love him. I'm glad Korea is unharmed. My thoughts and prayers go out to those in Japan who were.

Family Day/BCT Graduation












Crazy that was just a year ago today.

February

February was a busy busy month. I started working at my dream job, then a week later had to quit. They told me when I interviewed, after I was done training I would be going to their other location, and they told me what street it was on but I had no idea where that was..found out it was in Avondale. Which is an 80 mile round trip from my house. And with gases prices being right not 3.35 and me driving a V8 Jeep, that was just not gonna work. So I quit there and they were really understanding and game me 4 Mesa hospital locations to call because they are pretty sure they were hiring and to say they recommended me. I'm hoping they are hiring!

On February 18th at like 1:30 in the morning my best friend Michelle went into labor! I got down to the hospital at like 2:30, and she had a baby boy at 4:30! It was such a cool experience to be there, I'm so glad she invited me to be there! I even got to cut the cord!

On February 24 my parents celebrated their 27th Anniversary



The day before my dad set up a surprise luncheon for my mom at favorite place, It was really fun! The whole back patio got decorated and the employees were really great about us having it there. They set up free chips and dips at the tables, gave us free drink for everyone, and free deserts!



I also started school in February and it's going great! I'm getting good grades and I'm actually doing really awesome having online classes. I totally thought I was gonna be really bad about remember to do the work but I'm actually getting things done way ahead of schedule. Which is a very good thing because in 10 days I'm going to Disneyland with my sister and some of my cousins!! I'm so excited!!!

I'm On Board

Ya know, with the Valentines Day post.

I love Valentines Day. I don't know why people always have to be so cynical about it. Even if you're not with someone at the moment. It's just a happy day!

My love for Valentines Day started early in Elementary school. When you made awesome mailboxes out of shoe boxes and decorated them all pretty. Then you got go buy awesome cards at the store and send one to everyone. I loved going around on V-day putting all of the cards in the mailboxes. It was like delivering presents at Christmas, I loved it!

Now you can imagine my shock and hurt when I told Alex about this love, and he told me he hated it cause he didn't get any cards! What?! WHAT?! Seriously what school did this kid go to?! The teachers are supposed to make list so everyone gets one! Made me sad :(

But anyway on to this



I'll cut the sap short, but I have to say, I hate to be cliche but really I'm so happy I married my best friend. I loves him so much :)

Also. Happy Birthday to the best state in union. ARIZONA!! 99 Years! Next year will be the big 100! Party! I love me some Arizona!

Everything happens for a reason.

When I first got back from Korea I was really wondering if we had made the right decision about me coming back.

I think after this week I'm finally convinced that it was, and that everything does happen for a reason.

This last week my sister moved back home and got a job as a nanny. She started work on Tuesday. The people she nannys for are both vets. They have a few hospitals around the valley. Wednesday Tanna was mentioned me and how I'm going to school to be a vet tech, and instantly he boss was like oh really!? Well we are always looking to hire at the clinic! So I got in touch with her and Friday I had an interview and I got the job!!!

That's right I got my dream job! The job I'm actually going to school for! Turns out he said, that they like hiring people who don't go to school, because they can train then their way, and because someone can have all the learning they need, but nothing compares to on the job training and real life experience. So I am going to be trained to be a vet tech!
I can't even begin to describe how excited I am!

I get to wear scubs to work! Yay!

This is really going to be so good for US! Not only will I get the training I need to work as a vet tech. But I'm also going to be making good money. And the fact that I'm staying with my parents, so we're not paying any rent anyways! We'll be saving a ton of money for our future I'm so glad!

Don't get me wrong, not being with my husband still sucks like crap. Like for real.
But I'm really grateful we have for the opportunity to save money. And I'm so glad we'll be able to take our big vacation when he comes back in June! I'm so excited! I miss he so much!

It's also gonna be a lot busy to keep my mind off the time because of how busy I'll be. I'm going to school full time and will be working full time, and fill what spare time I have with gym friends and family

A few things to take note of

I've really been loving Amazon lately. I got myself this lot on there about a week ago. It's been happy Nintendo playing as of late. And the best thing, all of this cost about the same as 2 of Alex's games that he plays. Talk about more for your buck. Oh and Super Nintendo is just better anyway.




To all the ladies on Facebook who are have poor pity parties cause their husband has to work over the weekend, or go out of town, and they "just miss them so much". Stop. Seriously, stop. As Brenan from Step Brothers would say, "You're just sounding stupid".


I have officially been here 2 weeks as of yesterday. Really? Reallly? How the crap is time going by this slow?! I don't understand! Ahhh!! Time needs to speed up, like ASAP!


I finally start school this Monday. Should be good times. Except it's been so long since I've been in school I'm nervous I won't know what to do at all. Ha, now that I typed that out it seems like quite the irrational fear. We'll see.

I met a lovely couple of Canadians on the way up and we spent the whole way down talking. It was a good time indeed.

Great hike that left me with a couple tired and happy dogs in the back of my jeep.

This past week was a happy time for my family. My aunt, uncle, and cousins finalized the adoption of this cute miss.

The adoption was finalied on Wed the 26th. And then they were sealed in the Mesa Temple just Saturday the 29th.

In Case You Haven't Heard

I am currently, and will be till October, back in Mesa. Shocking, right?

Let me 'splain. No, that is too much. Let me sum up.

NCS papers we're taking too long to go through and I didn't have a lot of time left on my visa.

Also he's only gonna be there till October, so when it comes to getting home good and furniture and such, we would have to buy it then come October get rid of it of sell it for cheap cause the Army wouldn't pay too ship it.

What are our plans now you ask? I'm gonna stay at home till October, and we're gonna save a crap ton of money. I'm gonna find a job, start school next week, and am getting a membership to the gym right by my house and WILL lose a lot of weight, so I should be staying pretty busy. Alex is gonna come home sometime in the June/July range, preferably end of Juneish so he can be here for his birthday. And we're gonna go on a kick A cruise for a week. Then got to Cali and chill at the beach for about 5 days. Should be good times.

In the meantime, I'll continue missing him like crazy and hopefully skyping as much as we have been these last couple days, which as been about a good 5 hours. I just gotta keep telling myself, ony 5 months till the honeymoon we never had, and 9 till we can FINALLY settle down. I have seriously never wanted anything so bad. Well that's a lie, I've wanted a couple unnamed things more, but that's beside the point.

Dates, School and Anger

I forgot to put up pictures from the last time we went out. So please don't think we're eating out every day haha This first bit is from when we went to enings on our date last week. I love this place I have seriously been craving what I got last time since I had it when we went for my birthday. This place is really cool because, A. You sit on sofas, not chairs. B. The food is delicious and reallly cheap. Both times we've gone its been on 19,000 for both of us. C. Free dessert with your meal.

This week on our date we went to see Tron 3D at CGV. Which was by far the coolest thing ever! CGV is one of the biggest IMAX's in the world I believe. Like when you were watching it you couldn't see walls. It was all movie so it just felt like you were there! Not to mention the movie itself was so good! We loved it! After that we went to eat and got some gorilla burger. We've been there before, it's so good.

Alex got a bomb burger. I thought it looked so gross but it was actually fairly delicious. It had hamburger, bacon, bbq sauce, and cheese. All in between 2 krispy kreme doughnuts.

I signed up for classes last week, and I'm gonna be starting a Rio Salado on the 31st. I can't wait to start school and get the ball rolling with what I wanna do. Which is, be a vet tech. I hope wherever we get stationed next has a good vet tech school near by.

Now if you will, let me express my great distaste for how things are going. We have now had our papers in for over a month, and still have yet to get anything back. Which means we still don't have a place to live. I mean really, it's getting ridiculous. I was told this was a fairly quick process, not to mention I know 2 people who got their paperwork back within a week of turning it in. Ughh! I mean I seriously just wanna go yell at someone! Not even yell actually, just nicely ask them if we can get it back. It's not even a hard thing to do! It's a dang signature on a dang piece of paper that we need! Thats all! Just a signature! Grrr!! If you can't tell, I'm parettyy upset about this.
