New house on post

A little over 2 weeks ago now we moved on post here at Fort Bragg. It's a 3 bedroom 2 bath and has 1300sq ft. It's so amazing to have this much room. I thought we were ok in our 950sq ft townhouse but now being here I couldn't imagine going any smaller. It has an amazing kitchen with wayyyy more drawer and cupboard space then we need, which I thought I would never say. But we have like 4-5 unused cupboards and 3 open drawers, oh and awesome counter space! Needless to say, I love it! I also love that we have so much extra storage space! We have 4 huge linen closets and big closets in all 3 bedrooms.

I feel so lucky that my mom was able to be here also to help us move. She helped us so much it was unreal. We went to turn our keys into our old place and came back and the place was almost totally unpacked and decorated so cute! I sure have an amazing mom. We were 100% unpacked and set up after just 3 days here. Here are some of the pictures of my moms awesome work

So far we really like living on post too, which we thought we wouldn't, why it took us so long to move here. oh and another favorite part, back to a one story! I hate stairs, I need to remind myself that anytime we move again

Big fat baby update

Ok I have so much updating to do with this baby, mostly picture wise cause I've gotten like 5 ultrasounds so far. And sorry if you're not good with ultrasounds. My whole family, like mom, and sister, dad I think can't make out any of my ultrasound haha I don't get it. I've always been good at making them out though.

This is the second one. The first was at the ER at 6 weeks so not a lot to see. Anyways. This is at 7w6d

Everything so far is going pretty good with this pregnancy. I never have really gotten too sick. Well I get sick all the time but never really have thrown up. The only downside is I have hives everywhere always. And an unknown something all over my boobs and belly that make me want to die not only of itchiness but pain. The doctor has no idea what it is. So frustrating. She chalks it up to me being a very allergic person. Allergic to what? I don't know, assume being pregnant cause thats when it all started. Doctor has me on Benadryl and Zyrtec which leaves me knocked out. So I'm either in sheering pain all day or am the living dead. Moving on haha

And it's a boy!!! We just found out yesterday and could not be more excited!! We were both shocked. Us and most our whole family thought it was a girl. It's took like 15 min just to see him. He was curled up in a ball for so long and even after had his hand all over his face it was so cute!! I'm glad I make him such a cozy home haha. We're so in love already and so excited!

Johan Michael is due December 29th. Hes the first boy second grandchild for my mom and dad and first grand baby for Alexs parents. Everyone is so excited! Like seriously it still feels so surreal ahhh I'm just so excited!!

May part 1

May was a super fun month. On the 3rd my entire family came to visit! which includes my mom, dad, brother, sister in law, 2 sisters, and my brand new niece! I was so excited to finally meet her, she is so perfect!

We had such a fun weekend! Went out to eat a few times and saw the Avengers. But the reason they came down was because on May 5th Alex got baptized! And was baptized by my dad and my mom and sister Tanna both gave talks. They were both soo good. Had me crying haha

We told my family about a week and half before they actually came out. It was just gonna be my parents coming for a visit but then we told them why we wanted them to come out an they were soooo shocked. We didn't tell anyone but Alex had been taking discussions since January. Actually we told then about the baptism the same time we told them we were pregnant again so that was exciting! Luckily the whole family was able to come! We weren't expecting it so it was so fun!

April

On April 5th we had some visitors come! Alex's mom and boyfriend came from Arizona to stay for the long weekend. We had a lot fun, went out to my favorite place, Miyabi, which is by far the best hibachi I have ever had. We also went to Raleigh I think the first day they got here. I was lame and didn't take any pictures and I'm so bad at remembering everything, but it was fun! Haha

April 13th we celebrated our 5 year anniversary!(of togetherness, not marriage). 5 years earlier we went on a casual first date to In n' Out( which PS I am craving so bad right now!) and went to the movies and saw disturbia. So for our anniversary we went out to Red Robin then went home and watched a movie. And again I was lame and didn't take any pictures.

Just a few days later, on the 17th, we found out some exciting stuff. We found out I was pregnant! Yes, again, and exactly 4 weeks to the day after my miscarriage. I went to the doctor the same day and did a blood test and found our "for sure" the next day.
We waited until as week, or less, later, after I had my first dr appointment to tell out family.

And the even better news is, I'm still pregnant! Haha. We are so blessed,and so excited! I'm so glad to be out of the first trimester, can't even tell you what a stress bucket I was everyday. It seriously wore on my emotions.
But I am now 13 weeks today and am due on December 29th :)
We are a happy bunch over here.

March

March started out as a really good month. On the 2nd, after much research and test drivings over a couple weeks time we finally bought a new car! I hate to sound like a salesman but really this car is amazing so if your in the market, look into this! We bought a 2012 Hyundai Elantra. It's the north American number 1 car or the year and has the highest safety ratings. And it's pretty great looking as well!

We love it!

Then on March 5th, a month that started off good got better! We found out we were expecting!

We were so excited! Nobody But maybe 2-4 people knew we had been trying since about mid 2010. Not even our parents knew I think. So this was very exciting news for us!
We were so excited we told all of our families and friends that day.
I loved calling everyone and telling them, it was so fun!
About a week and a couple days later we had our first doctors appointment and our due date was set for November 12, 2012!

On March 20th we were so excited cause my brother and sister in law were on their way to the hospital in Arizona to be endured to have their first sweet baby and our first niece.
About an hour after they left for the hospital, I started bleeding, and it looked like we were on our way to the hospital ourselves.
We got to the ER and had to wait a good 5 hours. Worst wait of our lives. I finally got in and then the tests started. As much as I wanted to deny it, I knew what was happening, yet no one would tell me. After about 45 min there and about an hour and a half of the worst pain ever I went to the bathroom and found out I had lost our baby. All I wanted to do after that was go home. But apparently even after that they still have tests to do. After 8 hours in the hospital we finally went home. Empty.

4 hours after we got home out sweet baby niece Stella Jane was born

The next couple weeks were the hardest ever. But seriously I am so grateful and so blessed to have the husband I do. Anytime I cried, no matter how often I cried he stopped whatever he was going and just held me. He also took me on a couple surprise daycations.

He took me to the beach a couple days after. It was too cold to swim but it was so nice just walking around and relaxing

Then a few days after that we went to Charlotte. We went to this mega amazing theater with huge seats and a full bar and restaurant. We felt do weird only ordering a diet coke and popcorn haha. We saw the hunger games for the 2nd time. Love that movie.

Oh and probably the most important part of our 2.5 hour trip to Charlotte was jack in the box! Haha which I could seriously go for now. Too bad it's so far away, yet probably for the better haha.

So to sum up the month of March. Well I dont know, It had the highest highs and the lowest lows. I guess that about sums it up.

February

February was a pretty fun month.
On the 2nd my brother in law and sister flew down from arizona( I feel I need to say Alex's brother and my sister, my sister isnt married) and my other sister came down from Raleigh, which she usually did every weekend anyways.
They came because on Saturday the 4th alex and I ran my first half marathon, his second in Goldsboro, NC, like an hour/hour halfish from our house. I finished in 2: 28 min I think. Geez I can't even remember. Alex finished way before me but I'm was still pretty happy with my time

The rest of the month was fairly uneventful, so that half marathon was the highlight of our month.

Well actually on the 20th I got my teeth done. I have some serious issues with my mouth, almost 2 years ago I got my wisdom teeth out and when I got them done i got my nerves all messed up. The left bottom of my mouth is numb, my tongue and gums, and because of that for some reason novicane doesn't affect me at all and the shots to give me novicane cause the most intense extreme pain I've ever felt.
So remember when I said january I saw 3 different dentist. Well all of them were trying to figure out what to do with me cause I had 2 cavities that couldn't get fixed cause the novicane doesn't work. So finally in February I got scheduled to be put under, yes, under for a cavity. So stupid but it had to be done. I wasn't even under at all when I got my wisdom teeth out. So long story short, kinda, Alex taped me after he procedure and was a kind husband haha

Haha slightly embarrassing, please don't judge.  That was my first and only experience being drugged and I seriously don't remember any of that

November-January

I'm trying so hard to remember back this far haha it's so bad, I'm having a hard time. But, here I go with the big fun stuff I remember.

As you know in November we moved from Arizona to North Carolina.
We got here on the 5th, and pretty much spent the whole month settling in and enjoying being "really" marred haha for the first time.

December. On the 10th Alex and I did our first race together, we did a holiday 10k. And we crossed the finish line at like 68 min which was a pretty good amount of time shaved off my first 10k in October. That was all thanks to Ale, he stayed with me the whole time and pushed me through it.

Then December 13th was my birthday, I turned 22, I honestly can't even remember what we did haha. And thus why I need to keep up on blogging.
On December 14th we celebrated our 2 year anniversary and went out to a fancy, waaayyyyy too fancy place, ad I got this beautiful bracelet an earnings oh and flowers :) it was a pretty good day.

The rest of December was filled with the usual, holiday cheer and celebrating Christmas, which I am not gonna do a post about haha but it was a great holiday.

January nothing really eventful happened. Except I signed up for my first half marathon with Alex to take place just 5 week after I signed up. Ya talk about crash course in marathon training. Oh and I also had quite a dealio with my teeth that time too. Saw 3 different dentist that month, Ridiculous.

Anyway that about sums up those few months. I promise more exciting stuff happens so I'll catch you up on the good stuff later this week!

I'm Back!!

This feels so weird, this is the first time I've been on blogger since like January.  I haven't even really read any blogs since then either.  But I think I'm back, for now at least haha and I'm gonna start reading other blogs too!

A ton of stuff has happened since I last blogged and I really wanna catch everyone up on everything, whether you care or not! haha  so I think I'll be doing a lot of post of this week and next, however long it takes and update every month. Sounds fun, no?  

Anyways lookout for my post!  I'll probably post the first one tonight, maybe, depending on how tired I get haha

peacin out

Ok I feel super crappy for doing this, especially cause just a couple days ago I was all, "ahh I have internet! I get to blog again!" But now that I can blog, I realize I really have no interest whatsoever to blog. This is the first time in my married life living with my husband, and honestly I'm just loving every second of being with him. I no longer really wanna be on the computer all the time. That's not really the only reason, the biggest is I really just don't feel like having a blog any more, I wanna tone it done on the social networking. But this makes me sad cause I've met so many awesome people through this blog! I still might be around reading other peoples blogs but for now I'm gonna set this to private(in a few days)

But if anyone wants to add me on facebook or twitter feel free! It's over here to the side I believe << I'm gonna miss everyone! You guys have seriously been so awesome! Like seriously awesome, thanks everyone for all of your sweet comments and support!! I may be back, but for now I'm out.

I'm finally Back!!

We've been in our new home for a month and a half now. We have actively trying to get internet for 2 weeks now. Finally at 9am we got internet!! Which is a perfect birthday present! I'm excited to start getting caught up on all of my blogging which includes finally reading blogs again!

I'm gonna get this place cleaned up today and take a bunch of pictures of our house. This week is going to be a pretty busy one, but also a pretty great one! Today is my birthday, then tomorrow is our two year anniversary! Then Thursday and Friday Alex is taking off which gives us a 4 day weekend getaway! I'm so excited!

Busy+no Internet=no blog

I have been so crazy busy I've totally neglected my blog. And I've actually really been missing it. Alex got home on the 25th and we set off for our new home in north Carolina on the 1st. We got here on Friday the 4th and we love our new home!! We arrived signed the lease and started moving in right away! So much better than staying in a hotel and looking for a place when we get here. We're supposed to be getting Internet this week so when we do I plan on going blog crazy to catch everyone up on our life here!

Biggest Loser?

I've been thinking a lot(by a lot I mean this morning) That it would be so much fun to do a biggest loser throughout the blogosphere!

I know a lot of people are working on their fitness goals on their own, and I think it would be fun to do it together and encourage each other. We'll do weekly weigh in's and so it's fair we do it like the biggest loser does it and count weight percent lost, not just pounds. Everyone can put in maybe 5-10$ and the big winner would get the money at the end.

Who would all be interested in this? And if you are interested, would you wanna do an 8-10 week challenge before the new year for those of us that wanted to lose weight for their 2011 New Years Resolutions? Or would you wanna do 8-10 weeks after the New Year?

I've always wanted to do this and I hope other people do to! If you do want to do it pass it along to your blog to so we can get as many people as possible doing this!

? Peak

Last night I found this super awesome website, its called hikarizona.com. It has every single trail in Arizona and there are so effing many! I was excited when I found it, but I was also very sad. You see, I only have two and a half weeks left here. It seems I have found this a little too late :( It sucks I've been hiking the same 4-5 trails over and over and over..at LEAST 4 times each. But I wanna hike as many new trails as I can before I leave. So today I got my sister and we went off on a new trail..that trail, I have no idea what name it is, something peak.

It was so much fun. we were hiking for a bit and I'm we got like stuck or something, it seemed like we got to the top of the peak but I can't be too sure. The trail was so confusing! But we made the most of our confusion and took a lot of pictures it was so much fun.

Then after that we were walking back when we found another path. So we decided to take that! It was so fun to be somewhere totally different and get lost and explore.

And as always I took way to many pictures. I love the desert

Seems Fitting

I stepped on the scale this morning to find out I finally lost 50lbs!! I was freakin excited! It took me about forever and a day(about six and a half months) but I finally did it!! Now if I just need to loose about 30 more and I will be a happy camper. But this 50 is a big milestone for me!

Squaw Peak

I went hiking today with my best friend Michelle. It was such a nice day, fall finally happened here, it's only a high of 85. Lovely. The hike was good, This was Michelle's first time going so we stopped a lot at first but then half way through I went on without her. I hate doing that but she insisted. So I race up to the top real quick and ran down and met her. The I jogged most the way down. I remember when I used to do this I could barely do it. I felt like I was gonna die when I finished. But it's actually a pretty easy hike and I did it pretty quick. It felt so good to not be out of breath at all and be able to do it so good.

I love hiking in this weather. I think I'm gonna be going again on Friday maybe.
