Powell

I'm back from our family reunion at Lake Powell. I loaded all my pictures up, and turns out, I'm really horrible at taking pictures. Not the quality of them, more like the quantity haha. I got a few good pictures of scenery but luckily there were like 20 other cameras there. Can't wait to get the pictures back of those! And remember my cousin Chelsea who does these awesome videos , and especially this one. Well she's gonna be making another video(or a few, not sure) of this trip. I'm so excited to see those!!

But for now, here's a few of the pictures I took.

These are all from my first morning there. I woke up way early, like 5:15 and was too restless to go back to sleep so two of my aunts and me went our boating first thing in the morning. It was so beautiful

I had no idea that was being taken haha

Sand hill, this thing is crazy steep, such a good workout and so much fun to run down!

haha had to put this up my uncle Kevin. He just got done skiing and I told him he looked like some sort of crazy bird, that's why he's making this face

Saturday we took all five boats and all of us went on a day trip to Rainbow Bridge, then went to Cathedral Rock or Mountain or something and had lunch that we pack such a fun day!

This trip was so much fun, but could have been about ten times better. I can't even tell you how much I miss my husband and wish he was there. I really thought the longer without him being here the easier it would get to the end but it just feels like it's getting harder.

The first day we were here my aunt tried to scare me and I almost got tossed off the boat. It was the most hilarious and terrifying thing of my life. My whole lower half of my body is completely covered in bruises and welts, and it hurts pretty bad. I am so insanely sore. Sadly the incident left me with a slight case of PTSD and being on boats going fast the rest of the week freaked me out. Like, it really stressed me out.

In other better news, our family goes boating all the time. Which means I've tried a ton to get up wakeboarding but my fat butt has never been able to get up. Until now woot woot!! I finally got up a few times!! It was the coolest thing ever! Glad I've been working out so much haha

But tomorrow it's back to reality. I start back at school tomorrow, I'm gonna be job looking, and it's time to start kicking my butt with workouts again. That 5 days without running was hard! Turns out it's harder than I thought it would be to find time to run in the middle of the lake haha. But luckily I still worked out with hiking, swimming and other lake activities.

How was everyone's weekend?!

Beautiful pictures! I think it gets harder too the longer they are gone, especially if you are around family.

Good luck with school!
